Concerts and Lectures Series to present Sherman Wooden Lecture

Keystone College will celebrate Black History Month with a lecture by community leader Sherman Wooden.
Keystone displays Tuskegee Airmen Red Tails Photo
01/31/2012Keystone College is honoring members of the famed World War II Tuskegee Airmen by displaying a photo of a “Red Tail” fighter plane. The photo, which will be on display in the college’s Miller Library, was donated to Keystone by Tuskegee Airman Dr. Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. and depicts the plane he flew in combat.

01/13/2012Keystone College’s Diversity Services will participate in a service project in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Keystone students will assemble sleeping bags in conjunction with the Hop Bottom, Pa.-based My Brother’s Keeper Quilt Group and the “Sleeping Bag Project.”
Concerts and Lectures Series to present The Manuel Scott Story
01/10/2012In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Keystone College Concerts and Lectures Series will present “The Manuel Scott Story,” an against-the-odds tale of courage, strength, and determination to overcome extreme adversity on Thursday, January 19 at 7 p.m. in the Theatre in Brooks. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Artist Jennie Barrese to Exhibit Digital Photographs
01/09/2012La Plume – The Linder Gallery at Keystone College will present an exhibition of photographs by New York artist Jennie Barrese from February 5 through March 9 on the Keystone campus in La Plume. The exhibit will feature a reception for the artist on Sun., Feb.12 from 4-6 p.m. in the Gallery, and the public is invited.
