La Plume – Keystone College Performance Music will hold its spring jazz concert, “The Best is Yet to Come” on Sunday, May 5 from 7-8 p.m. in the Theatre in Brooks. The event is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments will be available after the music.
The diverse evening will feature vocal jazz standards, funk charts, Motown favorites, and popular music selections such as “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “If I Didn’t Have You,” “Coconut Champagne,” and, of course, “The Best Is Yet To Come.”
In addition to the music, companion animal supplies will be collected for donation that will be delivered to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. There will also be a photography showcase from Keystone College Alumna Trista Carpenter ’18.
