International Students

To begin your journey to Keystone, you must first fill out our online application. The online application is easy and straightforward.

Academic Records

• Provide your secondary school academic transcripts and records.
• Academic records should include an official English translation provided by World Education Services (WES) or other recognized translation service.
• Students transferring from other colleges or universities at which coursework has been taken should also submit official college or university transcripts. Your transcripts will be used in the admissions process to provide you with a transfer credit evaluation. 

English Proficiency Exam

Provide official results of the TOEFL or IELTS if English is not your primary language

• TOEFL (Keystone College Code 2351): 70 iBT is the minimum score required for admission. Students with a score between 71-79 may be offered regular admissions and enroll in supplementary ESL coursework, in addition, their regular degree classes for the first semester.
• IELTS (Keystone College Code 2351): 5 score band is the minimum score required for admission. Students with a score between 5-6.4 may be offered regular admissions and enroll in supplementary ESL coursework in addition to their regular degree classes for the first semester.
• GTEC (Keystone College Code 2351): 1080 is the minimum score required for admission. Students with a score between 1080-1200 may be offered regular admissions and enroll in supplementary ESL coursework, in addition to their regular degree classes for the first semester.

 SAT or ACT exams 

• SAT or ACT exams are not required for international student admission. However, an SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing score of 530 (or Critical Reading score of 550 for SAT taken prior to March 2016), can be substituted for the TOEFL or IELTS.

Additional Coursework

If you have additional coursework that will give you advanced standing, please submit all documents, such as Advanced Placement (AP) Exams, International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma/Exams, and GCE and IGCSE A-Level Results, to receive college equivalency credits as an incoming student.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Exams:

Keystone College reviews and evaluates IB Higher Level courses on an individual basis. A maximum of 32 IB equivalent credits will be accepted toward the Bachelor’s degree. Keystone requires an official IB transcript in order to evaluate credit. Learn More about baccalaureate equivalents

Transfer Form

If you are transferring from another institution in the U.S. to Keystone College, please submit the transfer form to the DSO at your current institution for transfer of your SEVIS record to Keystone College. Please do not request a transfer until you have received your acceptance letter from the Admissions Office at Keystone College.

Form I-20 is a government form that you are required to complete in order to obtain an F-1 student visa or status, or to keep lawful F-1 status when transferring or changing schools within the U.S.  It certifies that:

1. You are or expect to be a “bona fide” student.
2. You meet our admissions requirements.
3. You will pursue a full course of study.
4. You proved to us that you have enough money to study and live in the U.S. without working illegally or suffering from poverty.
