Political Science minor

A political science minor consists of a minimum of 18 credits in that particular discipline and requires one 1000-level course and two 3000- and/or 4000-level courses. The remainder may be chosen from current discipline course offerings at any level and are determined by the student and academic advisor.

Political Science Minor Course Options

  • American National Government

Students must take five electives (at least two must be 3000-level or higher) choose from:

  • Any POSC course
  • The Making of the Modern World
  • Civic Responsibility
  • Internship in the Social Sciences (minimum 3 credits in the political sector)
