Film in Society minor

A Film in Society media consists of a minimum of 18 credits and requires two 1000-level courses, two 2000-level courses, and two 3000-level courses. The specific 2000- and 3000-level courses are determined by the student and academic advisor as listed below.

• FILM 3010: Special Topics: Science Fiction Films
• FILM 3011: Special Topics: Film as History
• FILM 3012: Special Topics: Battles to Film
• FILM 3013: Special Topics: Zombie Films
• FILM 3014: Special Topics: Monster Movies
• FILM 3015: Special Topics: American Mafia
• Any other FILM 3XXX: Special Topic course as offered

Students are responsible for meeting course prerequisites, or obtaining instructor consent as needed, for all courses in the Film in Society minor. Students may not minor in their major field of study and must declare their minors prior to registering for GRAD audit. Consult the program coordinator to determine if additional minors are available. The College does not guarantee the availability of all courses necessary for all minor options.
