First Year Seminar

The First Year Seminar (FYS 1110) is a one-semester new student orientation course designed to help first-year students understand the new challenges, unique values and opportunities at Keystone College. Emphasis will be placed on the college experience, academic skills, life skills, and institutional values during FYS.

Additionally, First Year Seminar helps students develop creative and critical thinking abilities; cultivate effective communication skills; make connections; and understanding responsibilities of community membership.
