The MBA assists with starting a new business and attainment of specific management or leadership positions. MBA coursework involves a broad spectrum of business-related topics including finance, economics, communications, management, strategy, and leadership.

Students select from one of six concentrations: Accounting, Finance, Health Systems Management, Leadership, Marketing, or Project Management.

If you’ve earned applicable graduate level credits with a B or better, they may be accepted for transfer to Keystone. Students can transfer in up to 9 of the 30 credits required for graduation.

Program Goals

By the end of the program, graduates will:

  • Demonstrate exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Synthesize operational knowledge of business, marketing, project management, information technology, finance, accounting, statistics, and quantitative analysis.
  • Appraise environmental, corporate, and financial resource sustainability.
  • Evaluate ethical and responsible behavior in business activities.

Program Format

The MBA program is delivered in both an online and in-person format. Students are required to have the necessary hardware and software and access to high-speed Internet in order to complete the online coursework. The anticipated program length is one to two years, depending on course load.

Program Prerequisites

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree (any major) from a regionally accredited college or university with an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher. Applicants who do not hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field must complete the following undergraduate courses (or their equivalent) with a grade of “B” or higher prior to matriculation into the program:

  • Introduction to Business or Introduction to Management
  • Economics
  • Accounting

Students with industry experience may seek a waiver from these prerequisite requirements from the Program Director.

Tuition

$650 per credit.

Program Schedule

The online graduate program will operate on an 8-week term during the fall and spring semesters; there are two terms each semester. During the summer, courses are offered in two 6-week terms. Students are permitted to take up to two (2) classes per term/four (4) classes per semester.

The in-person graduate program will operate on a 15-week semester. Students are permitted to take up to four (4) classes per semester.

Application

Keystone College accepts students to the MBA program for fall, spring, and summer terms. Students applying for the MBA program have no additional requirements other than those required for all master’s applicants
