History minor
A history minor consists of a minimum of 18 credits in the history discipline and requires one 1000-level course and two 3000- and/or 4000-level courses. The remainder may be chosen from current discipline course offerings at any level and are determined by the student and academic advisor.
History Minor Course Options
Students must choose three of the following courses:
- Western Civilization
- U.S. History I
- U.S. History II
- The Making of the Modern World
In addition, students must choose three of the following courses:
- Civil Rights in America
- U.S. History since 1945
- History of the Civil War
- Women’s History in America
- Cultural Geography
- International Relations
