Why an online Master of Business Administration degree?

The Online MBA is designed for students who want the flexibility to complete coursework from anywhere while still following a structured academic schedule. Courses are delivered fully online, allowing students to balance graduate study with work, family, and professional responsibilities.

Program Goals
By the end of the program, graduates will:

  • Demonstrate integrated, innovative strategic thinking and problem-solving skill sets.
  • Demonstrate exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Synthesize operational knowledge of business, marketing, project management, information technology, finance, accounting, statistics, and quantitative analysis.
  • Appraise environmental, corporate, and financial resource sustainability.
  • Evaluate ethical and responsible behavior in business activities.
Program Format

Courses are delivered online through the Canvas learning management system. Students are required to have reliable high-speed internet access. Students completing four courses a semester can complete the program in three semesters (one calendar year). Students also have the option to enroll part-time and take one or two classes per semester. Note that not all classes are offered each semester and students should work with their advisor to plan a path to completion.

Program Prerequisites

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree (any major) from a regionally accredited college or university with an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher. Applicants who do not hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field may be asked to complete the following undergraduate courses (or their equivalent) with a grade of “B” or higher prior to matriculation into the program:

  • Introduction to Business or Introduction to Management
  • Economics
  • Accounting

Students with industry experience may seek a waiver from these prerequisite requirements from the Program Director.

Students will complete nine (9) core course requirements (27 credits) and three (3) courses in their chosen concentration (9 credits). A total of 36 credits are needed for graduation.

Application

Keystone College accepts students throughout the year with starts dates in August, January, and May.

Program Schedule

The online graduate program will operate on an 8-week term during the fall and spring semesters; there are two terms each semester. During the summer, courses are offered in two 6-week terms. Students are permitted to take up to two (2) classes per term/four (4) classes per semester.

Online students have the option to take on-campus classes which provides a hybrid option in which some classes are online and some are in-person.
