Keystone College students attend AICUP Day on Capitol Hill

Apr 9, 2024

Keystone College was well represented at the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania’s (AICUP) Day on the Hill at the Pennsylvania State Capitol.

The Keystone students had the opportunity to advocate on the College’s behalf during meetings with Rep. Kyle Mullins, Rep. Jim Haddock, Rep. Tina Pickett, and Rep. Bridget Kosierowski.

Students Braelynn Carpenter, Andrick Mercedes, Mathew Gilmartin, Donovan Oliver, Ashley Waldron, Steven Rodriguez, and Erik Duran  joined over students from 90 different colleges and universities across the state to champion for PA State Grant Programs in private education.

AICUP Day on the Hill is a one-day event that brings students from AICUP schools across the Commonwealth together at the Harrisburg Capitol to advocate on behalf of their institutions. It is a unique opportunity for participants to meet with legislators and see how the advocacy process works in Harrisburg.
