There’s no doubt about it, residents of the Abington area love the natural beauty and charm of the Keystone College campus.

Readers of the Abington Journal, a weekly community newspaper in nearby Clarks Summit, have selected Keystone as the “Best College Campus” for the 12th time in the publication’s annual “Best of the Abingtons” awards competition.

Keystone’s 276-acre campus is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque in Pennsylvania with its stately Victorian buildings and picturesque College Green. As a major part of the campus, the 170-acre Woodlands Campus features a stream, seven miles of hiking trails and meadows, and is home to a nature preserve and maple sugaring operation. In addition to serving as a valuable outdoor resource for the community, the campus’ outdoor classrooms and field stations provide opportunities for outdoor discovery and an excellent learning atmosphere for environmental education courses and workshops.

Recognized as one of the best educational values in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Keystone offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degree options in liberal arts and science-based programs in business, communications, education, natural science, environmental science, and social sciences. Located on a beautiful 276-acre campus 15 minutes from Scranton, Pa. and two hours from New York City and Philadelphia, Keystone is known for small class sizes and individual attention focused on student success through internships, research, and community involvement.
