Keystone College Students Participate in Hotel “Secret Shopper” Program

Dec 20, 2022

Keystone College students in Associate Professor Brenda Lidy’s Introduction to Hospitality Business Management class were busy during the fall semester serving as “secret shoppers” at several local hotels.

The students checked into the hotels under fictitious names and, after touring and inspecting the facilities, shared their findings with the respective hotel managers based on AAA hospitality guidelines. Participating hotels who helped provide a meaningful, real-world experience for the students were: Hampton Inn, Tunkhannock; Hilton Conference Center, Scranton; Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, Dickson City and Residence Inn by Marriott, Dickson City
