Keystone College and Factoryville will come together once again to celebrate Christy Mathewson Day on Saturday, August 13. This will be the 26th year the two communities have celebrated the life and accomplishments of the Baseball Hall of Fame legend, Keystone graduate, and Factoryville native.
There will be a wide variety of events, including the annual parade and fireworks display. All events are free and open to the public.
Due to an unexpected availability issue regarding actor Eddie Frierson, Friday’s events are postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date:

Saturday, August 13
4 p.m. Christy Mathewson Day Parade, College Avenue, Factoryville.
5-10 p.m. Christy Mathewson Celebration, Creekside Park, including:
Boy Scouts Troop 175 Chicken BBQ, Factoryville Little League Concessions, Factoryville Women’s Civic League Basket Raffle, Beer by 2 Dogz and a Guy Brewing, Wine by Mucciolo Family Wines, Cider by Last Leg Cidery.
Live music by Keystone College Jazz Ensemble from 5-6 p.m. and Static in the Attic from 6:30-9 p.m.
Pie auction sponsored by Factoryville United Methodist Church at 7:45 p.m.
Fireworks at dusk presented by the Factoryville Men’s Civic Club
