Keystone students learn about public and urban health in Chicago

Jul 1, 2019

Keystone classes Visit Chicago

At Keystone, learning extends beyond the classroom. Keystone College criminal justice and public health classes enjoy real-world experiences as part of the LEARN Chicago program. Associate Professor Stacey Wyland’s Restorative Justice visits non-profits and social service agencies, while Assistant Professor Dr. Vicki Stanavitch’s Intro to Public Health class learns about public and urban health. The students toured cultural and public health venues through a program offered by the Chigago Center for Urban Life and Culture, paying particular attention to public health issues.
