Theatre (minor)

A minor consists of a minimum of 18 credits in a particular discipline and requires one 1000-level course and two 3000- and/or 4000-level courses. The remainder may be chosen from current discipline course offerings at any level and are determined by the student and academic advisor.

  • ENGL 2165 – Introduction to Dramatic Literature
  • THEA 1120 – Introduction to Theatre
  • THEA 1125 – Acting I: The Basics of Performance
  • THEA 2125 – Acting II: Techniques and Styles

And any two of the following:

  • ENGL 3011 – Special Topics in Creative Writing: Playwriting
  • THEA 2120 – Survey of Technical Theatre
  • THEA 3110 – Directing for the Stage
