- Engages faculty, staff and administrators in identifying and prioritizing key funding needs
- Identifies and solicits foundation, corporate, and other private funding sources that have capacity to make gifts that match Keystone’s needs
- Works with local, state and federal government entities to secure resources that bring benefit to the College, its students and the surrounding communities
- Facilitates creation of funding proposals that match funder interest and reflect College priority
- Coordinates stewardship by assuring ongoing communication and responsiveness to funder requests

Kate Sickora is a professional fundraiser with a proven track record of growing revenue and resources while simultaneously developing a culture of philanthropy internally and with Boards. Most recently, Kate was the Chief Development Officer at WVIA Public Media in Pittston, PA. During her four years with WVIA, Kate grew the membership program to a historic high of 16,352 households and the philanthropic donor society from 140 households to over 340. She raised lead investments to launch WVIA News, an essential local journalism service for the 2 million residents in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. She also raised over $7.5 million in pledges for the largest capital campaign in WVIA’s history, transforming the headquarters into a revitalized, modern facility to serve the region for years to come.
Prior to WVIA, Kate worked in fundraising positions at multiple public media stations across the county, including in Texas, Oregon, New York, and North Carolina. She worked at National Public Radio in Washington D.C. as the first person hired to promote collaborative fundraising with member stations across the country and traveling with the President & CEO.
Kate happily resides in Clarks Green with her three children and Walter the dog. Her children are sophomores at Abington Heights High School and Kate would be beyond proud to have them wear Keystone’s Blue and Orange in the near future.
