Apr 14, 2026

Keystone College was well represented at the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania’s (AICUP) Day on the Hill at the Pennsylvania State Capitol.

Keystone students had the opportunity to advocate on the College’s behalf during meetings with Rep. Kyle Mullins and Rep. Kyle Donahue, as well as Abreham Kittle ’18, Alumna of Keystone and Research Analyst for Senator Patty Kim; and Chris Ramsey, Legislative Director for Senator Lisa Baker.

Ariel McNear, Christian W. Kramer, Jacob T. Yager, Kendra Archer, Fisher Sheffield, Area Coordinator, Donald Leach and Director of student Life, Lucas Taylor. joined over students from 26 different colleges and universities across the state to champion for PA State Grant Programs in private education.

AICUP Day on the Hill is an annual event where students from independent colleges and universities in Pennsylvania gather at the Harrisburg Capitol to advocate for their institutions and student aid funding.

It is a unique opportunity for participants to meet with legislators and see how the advocacy process works in Harrisburg.
