Keystone College will host the 10th annual “Cupcake Challenge” on Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 5-8 p.m. in Evans Hall, Hibbard Campus Center. All proceeds will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
The “Fat Tuesday” event, which is open to the public, will showcase hundreds of cupcakes from more than 20 local bakers who will compete in three divisions – professional, home, and junior – with participants voting to determine the region’s best cupcake. A panel of judges will vote for awards in several other categories.
Individuals can purchase six cupcakes for $10 or 18 cupcakes for $25. The student rate is $1 per cupcake. Students from Keystone’s Hospitality Business Management program are helping to plan and manage the event. Raffle prizes will also be awarded. Prizes are sponsored by King Arthur Baking Company.
