Keystone and NCC enter into honors program articulation agreement

Jun 17, 2022

Keystone College and Northampton Community College (NCC) have signed an articulation agreement enabling students in NCC’s Honors Program to seamlessly transfer to Keystone’s Honors Program.

Under the agreement, honors students who graduate with an associate degree and meet transfer requirements will be guaranteed admission into Keystone’s Honors Program to complete their bachelor degrees. The agreement is unique in that it applies specifically to the honors programs of both colleges. Honors education programs generally feature in-class and extracurricular activities that are even broader and more challenging than typically found at institutions of higher learning.

“This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for both Keystone and Northampton Community College to provide additional pathways to some of our most dedicated and talented students as they pursue their educational and career goals,” said Keystone President Tracy L. Brundage, Ph.D. “The more educational options students have, the more professional opportunities they will have as well.”

With the lowest tuition of any private college in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Keystone offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degree options in liberal arts and science-based programs in business, communications, education, natural science, environmental science, and social sciences. Located 15 minutes from Scranton, Pa. and two hours from New York City and Philadelphia, Keystone is known for small class sizes and individual attention focused on student success through internships, research, and community involvement.
