Deborah Doyle Belknap, J.D., Ph.D

Dr. Belknap has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Temple University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Catholic University of America. Dr. Belknap’s current research relates to the death penalty and mental illness. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Mental Health Task Force for the City of Scranton, and she is on the Board of Directors of Pennsylvanians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty. Dr. Belknap teaches Forensic Psychology and Ethics in Psychology, and she also teaches courses in the Criminal Justice program.
