La Plume – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting safety and social distancing requirements, Keystone College will not conduct its in-person Commencement previously scheduled for May 9, 2020 at the Pavilion at Montage.
The College is exploring other Commencement options including an online ceremony. However, no final decision has been made or details announced. It is also possible that an in-person ceremony may be held during the fall semester, depending on circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 situation. A final Commencement plan will be announced soon.
“We arrived at the decision to cancel our scheduled Commencement in the best interest of the health and safety of the entire Keystone community,” said Keystone College President Tracy L. Brundage, Ph.D. “In no way does this decision take away from the tremendous accomplishments of our Class of 2020 graduates and we will certainly honor them accordingly.”
Like other colleges and universities throughout the nation, Keystone has been engaged in online instruction of students which will continue for the duration of the spring semester.
