Keystone College will partner with the Belize Fund to host a Native American Pow-Wow on Sunday, November 18 from 2-4 p.m. in the Theatre in Brooks.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is being held in conjunction with Native American Heritage month. The Pow Wow is part of a series of events celebrating Keystone’s 150th anniversary.

Performances include award-winning hoop dancer Matt WhiteEagle, a traditional Aztec fire dance by the Salinas family, and Cherokee flute player Chris Hunsicker. Native American items and artifacts will be on display.

In addition to being an afternoon of entertainment, the Pow Wow helps raise general awareness while educating the public on Native American tribes. The Belize Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing Native American culture while supporting Native Americans in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.
