Keystone to host the 2017 Region 27 Future Business Leaders of America conference

More than 400 high school students from 11 local high schools will visit Keystone College on Tuesday, December 19 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. to participate in the Region 27 Future Business Leaders of America Leadership Conference.

Participating schools include: Athens, Blue Ridge, Forest City, Montrose, Mountain View, Sayre, Susquehanna County, Towanda, Troy, Tunkhannock, and Wyalusing.

Students will participate in a variety of events and business-related competitions to test their knowledge and business acumen in such areas as business ethics, client service, job interviewing and public speaking. There will also be a variety of workshops on business and career-related topics. Students who qualify will advance to the state competition in Hershey in April. There will also be a variety of business related presentations and seminars for all students.
