Keystone College will host three upcoming music concerts.
The Keystone College Jazz Ensemble and Combo will present Jazz Night at the Pavilion on Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m. The outdoor event will take place at the new Eckel Family Pavilion near the Athletic Field and Track Complex on campus.
The Jazz Ensemble will present its main spring concert the following evening, Sunday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in The Theatre at Brooks. The event, entitled “Visions,” will feature music by jazz greats Charles Mingus, Nat Adderly, Miles Davis, and other well-known jazz artists and composers.
The Keystone College Symphonic Band and The Chorale at Keystone, the two largest musical ensembles on campus, will hold their spring concert on Sunday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in The Theatre at Brooks. The Chorale at Keystone, under the direction of Megan Horwatt, features over 50 singers. The Symphonic Band will follow The Chorale’s performance by presenting a wide variety of music, ranging from a masterwork by Dmitri Shostakovich to a medley of popular selections from John William’s Star Wars movie score.
