Local residents will get a chance to see first-hand exactly how maple syrup is produced at Keystone College Environmental Education Institute’s “Sap to Syrup” Sugar Shack Open House on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on campus.
KCEEI experts will provide step by step instruction on the maple sugaring process. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required at www.keystone.edu/kceei. The Sugar shack is located on the eastern edge of campus near the athletic fields.
