Keystone College was well represented at the Pennsylvania Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference in Harrisburg earlier this month. Students Jacqueline Eyster, Millerstown; Tyler Gilroy, Scott Township; Michael Karwaski, Scott Township; and Kristy Keller, Taylor, attended the conference and competed in a number of competitions.
Tyler and Michael worked as team in the forensic accounting competition and took first place, Jacqueline took second place in the hospitality management category, and Kristy competed in the impromptu speaking category. Tyler, Jackie, and Michael qualified to attend the Phi Beta Lambda National Conference in Chicago, Ill, this summer.
Phi Beta Lambda, the collegiate version of the Future Business Leaders of America, is an education association that prepares students for careers in business and business-related fields. Assistant Professor Elizabeth Schneider, Esq., serves as adviser to Keystone group.
