A leading international business education association has accredited four Keystone College business programs.
The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) has accredited Keystone’s bachelor’s degree programs in business, accounting, and sport and recreation management, and associate degree program in business. The accreditation certifies each of those programs meets or exceeds IACBE’s rigorous outcome and assessment-based standards and demonstrates a commitment to excellence in business education, advancement in academic quality, and continuous improvement.
Attaining IACBE accreditation is a multi-year progress, requiring educational institutions to demonstrate the high quality of their academic programs and ongoing success of their graduates.
“We are absolutely honored to be awarded IACBE accreditation,” said Dr. Dana Harris, Keystone assistant professor an2d chair of the college’s Business, Management, and Technology Division. “IACBE accreditation recognizes these business programs as one of the best of their kind nationally and internationally. This achievement rewards our faculty and administration for their tremendous talent and tireless dedication. It also means that Keystone students receive a top quality education from an institution that has undergone a rigorous self-evaluation and on-site evaluation by highly trained reviewers.”
This is the second recent honor for Keystone’s business programs. In November, Keystone’s online accounting program was recognized as one of the best in the nation by Affordable College’s Online, a leading educational website.
Also, Keystone recently received permission from the United States Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Department of Education to offer a master’s degree in accounting.
