POSITION: Campus Safety Officer (2nd & 3rd shift) – 2 Part-time openings – $16.00 per hr.
REPORTS TO: Director of Campus Safety
WORK SCHEDULE: Nights and Evenings, Weekend and Holidays
JOB PURPOSE:
Ensures the safety and well-being of the students, faculty, staff, and guests of Keystone College. Protects the buildings and assets of the College.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures the safety and wellbeing of the students, faculty, staff, and guests of Keystone College; Protects the buildings and assets of the College; Responds to various types of emergencies; Patrols and documents patrols of the campus buildings, grounds, and parking lots using the Touch Probe Guard Tour System; Visually inspects fire extinguishers and documents and reports other safety hazards; Provides walking and/or mobile student escorts; Documents Residence Hall visitations; Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; background check clearances including Act 34 and Act 151 required; Qualified applicants must possess a valid PA driver’s license; Certification in First Aid, CPR, First Responder or Basic EMT certification a plus; Must be available to work third (night) shift, including weekends and holidays; Overtime is possible.
