Reports to:  Office Manager & Administrative Specialist to the VP of Enrollment

Position Summary:  The Enrollment Processing Specialist is responsible for oversight of application workflows, document processing (physical and electronic), data collection, and processes applications for admissions. This role also serves as primary contact for internal and external constituents regarding admissions operations and contributes to a collaborative Admissions team.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Process and index electronic and physical documentation pertaining to the application process.
  • Serve as document steward and archive manager.
  • Update student records in Element451 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Jenzabar (Student Information System (SIS)).
  • Manage the upload of all candidates’ transcripts and supporting information into Element451 platform for application processing and review.
  • Maintain data integrity of all admissions files, applications, and enrollment decisions.
  • Support the enrollment team in creating queries, reports, and processes related to the admissions cycle.
  • Process, review, edit, and index all official letters and mailings for the Admissions Office.
  • Provide coverage support for incoming Admissions phone call and email inquiries as well as to in-person visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Higher education experience, potentially in admissions operations and transcript processing, desired, but not required.
  • Experience working with a SIS or CRM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior use of Element451 or Jenzabar desired, but not required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with and understand CRM application configuration, administration, and communication flow.
  • Knowledge of higher education environment and associated business functions. Prior experience working in Admissions or Financial Aid offices is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with systems, technology integration, spreadsheets (Excel), and database applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate technological information in oral and written form.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and an ability to multitask while meeting concurrent deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and to maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 20 – 25lbs.
