Athletic Complex Construction is Underway

Construction of Keystone’s new synthetic all-weather athletic field and track complex is expected to be completed by the end of November. The 360’ x 240’ field will also feature an eight-lane track.

Inaugural Horseshoe Tournament

Students competed in the inaugural horseshoe tournament at the newly constructed horseshoe pits near the Tewksbury/Hollinshead parking lot. Any student interested in using the pit should contact Jason Geadrities, Coordinator of Intramural Sports and Recreation, or stop by the Campus Community Center to borrow the equipment.

The Tibetan lamas of the Drepung Loseling Monastery demonstrate their belief in the living moment by creating a mandala, an intricate sand painting.
In the closing ceremony on Sunday, July 21, the lamas swept the mandala into Nokomis Creek as a symbol of the transience of all things – even beauty and virtue.

Keystone students who participated in National Philanthropy Day gather at Alumni Hall after taking part in a number of events that paid tribute to the many philanthropic efforts being made in the Keystone community. Events included a Keystone Amazing Race, free hot cocoa, philanthropy facts candy bar giveaway, a traditional Thanksgiving feast in the Student Restaurant, a community service event, and more!

While on the trip, students delivered a TV donated by Walmart through its Bloomsburg, Pa. and Puerto Rico stores to a Luquillo, Puerto Rico senior center.
