In your third year, focus and fine-tune an educational and career plan through increased interaction with advisors and internship opportunities.
Academic
- Start preparing for senior capstone and completion of graduation requirements
- Participate in undergraduate research
- Connect with faculty and alumni mentors
- Attend the Spring Undergraduate Research and Creativity Celebration
Advising Services
- Schedule a meeting with your advisor to discuss your classes and co-curricular activities, internships, service learning, senior capstone projects, and post-graduation plans
- Schedule another meeting with your advisor to prepare for registration
Career Services and Promise Requirements
Career Development
- Attend alumni networking events
- Discuss your progress with regard to completing the Keystone Promise with your advisor or the Learning Center
- Create a LinkedIn profile and connect with Keystone’s Career Services page
Keystone Promise
- Complete an internship, shadowing, or experiential learning opportunity
- Discuss graduate school/plans for additional education
- Create a LinkedIn account and link to Keystone College and Keystone College Career Services
- Attend BOTH the Fall or Spring Career, Internship and Grad School Fair
- Update your Handshake account
Student Life
- Take leadership roles in clubs, organizations, Student Government, Student Activities, New Student Orientation, and as mentors to first year and sophomore year students
- Apply to attend an alternative spring break trip
- Build your list of co-curricular activities, take on leadership roles in clubs and organizations
- Attend the Annual Leadership Conference
- Apply to attend the National Conference on Student Leadership
