About the Workshop
Presented by the Keystone College Environmental Education Institute. This hands-on course will introduce participants to the honeybee as a pollinator, bee behavior, and the basics of beekeeping. Learn about bee anatomy, bee species and their lifecycle, in addition to the equipment necessary and safe practices for beekeeping. Upon completion participants will have the basic knowledge necessary to set up and manage a backyard apiary and design a pollinator garden. Basic level, no experience necessary. Ages 18 and over.

Keystone College reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled, registrants will be notified and a refund will be processed. Requests for refunds for withdrawals must be submitted in writing five days prior to the start of the program. Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a program.
