KCEEI: Intro to Beekeeping

About the Workshop

Join bee-keeper Ellen McGlynn for a 5-week, hands-on beekeeping class and examine the spring honey harvest, the behaviors and biological processes of honeybees during the height of the season, and the basic beekeeper interventions required to promote thriving colonies come fall. Participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch.

Fee: $120 includes use of protective gear and text book

Course also offers an option for undergraduate students to earn 1 field biology credit

Keystone College reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled, registrants will be notified and a refund will be processed. Requests for refunds for withdrawals must be submitted in writing five days prior to the start of the program. Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a program.
