About the Workshop
This course provides an overview of various citizen science projects and how these can be used to support hands-on learning inside and outside the classroom, and to introduce cross-concepts across all subject areas to support learning objectives. It will investigate citizen science projects that may focus on ornithology, entomology, phenology, pollinator research, weather and meteorology, water resources, and wildlife monitoring. Teachers will also investigate how students can create and implement their own citizen science project and get others to participate through global learning portals.
