Keystone College will host artist Phyllis Kornfeld, author of the book “Cellblock Visions: Prison Art in America,” on Tuesday, November 1 from 2 -3:30 p.m. in the Theatre in Brooks on campus.

For more than 30 years, Ms. Kornfeld has worked with incarcerated men and women in all levels of security around the country providing the transformative experience of creating art. She writes and lectures about her personal experiences with the prisoners, sharing stories about their lives, their imprisonment, and their artwork. Her lecture will also address the topic of mass incarceration and racism in the United States.

The lecture is free of charge and open to the public.
