The holiday season is a time for giving and a time for celebrating. A group of Keystone College students will be doing a little of both at the upcoming “Santa for Seniors” gift wrapping party on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Theatre in Brooks.

Each December, members of the College’s Sport Management and Recreation Team (SMART), in conjunction with Home Instead Senior Care, gather to wrap gifts that will help make the holidays a little brighter for local senior citizens. This year’s gifts will be delivered to Meadow View Health Care Center and Gracious Living Care Center in Montrose.

This year, the students will gift wrap approximately 200 presents for local seniors. The gifts are donated by local residents as well as Keystone students, faculty, and staff and delivered to local senior citizens during the holiday season.
