The Linder Gallery at Keystone College is hosting the art exhibit, “Skyscraper Still Life: A Realist Riding the Reflective Edge” by noted still-life painter Leland Wallin from October 6 through November 20 at the Linder Gallery, located in the Miller Library on campus.

There will be an opening reception on Thursday, October 8 from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. at the Linder Gallery and a lecture by the Mr. Wallin, “Saving Still Life History from Repeating Itself,” at 7:30 p.m. in Evans Hall in Hibbard Campus Center.

Mr. Wallin will discuss many motivational influences that feed into his painting, from his roots in realism and still life to the use of color, structure and studio setups. He will reveal diverse influences hidden behind the scenes, for the benefit of students and anyone who appreciates art.

The public is invited to all events.
