March 25, 2022 @ 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 8:30 pm on Wednesday and Friday, repeating until May 27, 2022
The Thomas G. Cupillari ’60 Astronomical Observatory will begin its spring program on Wednesday, March 23 at 8:30 p.m. and will continue each Wednesday and Friday evening through Friday, May 27. The Observatory will be open 8:30-10:30 p.m.
Participants will be able to observe the Moon, double stars, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and the Milky Way through telescopes.
Open to the public and free of charge, the sessions will be held outdoors or in unheated buildings and visitors should dress for outdoor temperatures. The main classroom building will be open only for restroom use and no formal talks or programs will be presented. The sessions will be canceled due to overcast skies, rain, or snow and visitors should check the weather before traveling to the Observatory.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, masks will be required for everyone and Keystone’s health and safety protocols will be followed.

It is approximately two miles west on Route 107 from Interstate 81 exit 202 and approximately two mile east of Fleetville on Route 107. Once visitors turn onto Hack Road, the Observatory is almost immediately to the left.
