Introduction to 3D Digital Design

This course is a great introduction to the various tools and techniques used to create 3-D digital models of all types and prepare them for printing. Students will survey open source (freeware) and professional software programs, as well as exposure to various types of 3-D Printers. Basic level, no experience required, ages 16 and over.

SolidWorks Basics 3D Design Class

Learn the basics of 3D Design in SolidWorks, the industry wide professional CAD program. Topics covered include the interface, sketching and dimensioning, extruding and cutting, finalizing and exporting files to print, and creating drawings for presentation. Bring in a project you want to create, or use instructor assigned objects. Basic level, no experience required, ages 16 and over.

Idea to Object: Creating Your First 3D Prototype

Take your idea from concept to finished prototype using web-based modeling software. A perfect class for the inventor, entrepreneur, or anyone with an idea they would like to see come to life. Basic level, no experience required, ages 16 and over.
