Theatre minor

A theatre minor consists of a minimum of 18 credits in that particular discipline and requires one 1000-level course and two 3000- and/or 4000-level courses. The remainder may be chosen from current discipline course offerings at any level and are determined by the student and academic advisor.

Theatre Minor Course Options

  • Introduction to Dramatic Literature
  • Introduction to Theatre
  • Acting I: The Basics of Performance
  • Acting II: Techniques and Styles

And any two of the following:

  • Special Topics in Creative Writing: Playwriting
  • Survey of Technical Theatre
  • Directing for the Stage
