POSITION: Graduate Assistant-Admissions

REPORTS TO: Director of Admissions

JOB PURPOSE: The primary responsibility will be to

Supports the work of the Enrollment Division by recruiting prospective students.


  • Interviews prospective students and their families
  • Gives campus tours as needed
  • Communicates with prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors via phone, written correspondence, e-mail, text, social media, high school visits, college fairs, and at all admissions events
  • Gives presentations at admissions events as needed
  • Functions as a liaison between Admissions and other departments on campus


Experience, Competencies and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Occasional local or regional travel required
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Higher education or sales experience preferred
