Keystone College students plan Ninth Annual Cupcake Challenge
Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 5-8 p.m.
Gambal Athletic Center
The Keystone College Hospitality Club hosted the ninth annual “Cupcake Challenge” on Tuesday, March 1 in Gambal Athletic Center. Students raised $2,000 to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
The annual event, which is open to the public, features cupcakes from local bakeries, restaurants, caterers and amateur bakers.
“This is a student-planned event, so it is nice to take the academic classroom experience and apply it to the real world. Students get to participate by organizing, problem-solving and handling the overall logistics. Fundraising and event planning is an excellent skill set to have and often overlooked.”
Brenda Lidy, faculty advisor and associate professor.
