POSITION: Admissions Communications Coordinator: Part-Time  

REPORTS TO: Director of Admissions

WORK SCHEDULE: Approx. 10-15 hours/week, flexible days

JOB PURPOSE: Supports the operation of the Admissions Department by coordinating communications and marketing efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create outgoing emails, including design and copywriting
  • Manage and execute all mass email campaigns using an email marketing platform
  • Develop and expand communication plans in email, print, web and social media
  • Assist with content development for email, newsletters, direct mail pieces, and marketing materials
  • Assist with design for various marketing projects, using Adobe and Microsoft software
  • Collaborate with Director of Admissions to create strategies for marketing academic programs
  • Provide social media support when needed
  • Works closely with College Communications department to ensure effective and accurate communications and brand use

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

 Experience, Competencies and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field, or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms is required
  • Graphic design experience is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and be self-directed
