Dr. Stevens lives in Clarks Summit Pennsylvania with his family. He has several dogs and volunteers as an assistant football coach at a local high school focusing on coaching fundamentals, responsibility, teamwork, character, motivation, and leadership. He stays active by weight-lifting. Possessing a passion for college football, Dr. Stevens visit(s/ed) many college and university campuses. He loves higher education and everything about it believing learning is the experience and discovery of humanity. This philosophy reflects over 25 years of interdisciplinary education and professional experience. Dr. Stevens taught at different institutions including The Pennsylvania State University, Colorado State University Global Campus, Baker College Center for Graduate Studies and Online, Marywood University, DeSales University, MBA, University of Scranton, Northampton Community College and various large online programs. His professional experience was with companies such as Rite-Aid Corporation, IGA Foods, National Vision Associates LTD., Paris Miki (LensLab), Luxottica (LensCrafters), Northeastern Eye Institute, Golden Living Centers, and The Washington Post Company (Kaplan, Inc.).

Dr.Stevens’ research focuses on variables such as emotional intelligence, stress and coping, turnover, leadership styles, cognitive/affective behavior, and awareness/preparedness in business/professional settings. Dr. Stevens created a research variable, personal-career turnover (PCT), and completed several research certifications including Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative at University of Miami; IRB at The Pennsylvania State University; and NIH Research Certificate-Human Participants Protections Education for Research Teams (NCI) at Marywood University; and IRB at Keystone College. Dr. Stevens also worked on PROSPER for the Survey Research Center at the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Stevens’s publications are recognized in peer-reviewed academic journals and global information-content organizations focusing on research gained from authoritative content. He has presented at academic conferences and venues in Washington D.C.; Grand Blanc/Flint, Michigan; LaPlume, Pennsylvania; and Denver, Colorado.
