Oct 10, 2019 | Criminal Justice News, Psychology News, Social Science News

Workplace Environment (SOSC 3130) combines Criminal Justice, Psychology and Social Science. Students are gaining an awareness of the variety of jobs performed at different work sites in the region. Each week the class visits a new location or invites an engaging speaker to the classroom. The students are developing a better understanding of the various opportunities available in the field of Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, and Psychology.

So far this semester the class visited Marley’s Mission, the Susquehanna County Courthouse, and Susquehanna County Trehab. Guest speakers have included Rep. Kyle Mullins (D-112, Blakely), and a Pennsylvania State Trooper attended class to discuss her experiences in her career and explain the best steps to take to become a trooper.
