KCEEI to Offer Fly Fishing Course

Adam NidohLa Plume – The Keystone College Environmental Education Institute will offer a six-week Introduction to Fly Fishing Course each Saturday from 10 a.m. – noon from Feb. 2 through March 9 in Lackawanna Hall.

Expert guide Adam Nidoh will introduce participants to the art fly fishing through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on demonstration. Participants will learn about trout behavior, trout stream entomology, fly-fishing strategies, basic fly-tying and fly selection, and have time for casting practice.

The six-week workshop is open to all ages 14 and older, and is appropriate for beginners and those with some experience who want to refresh their skills.
