I began my career at Keystone in 1998 as Student Activities Director. I then served as Director of Residence Life for one year and then began my career as a Psychology faculty member. I have been teaching Psychology since Fall of 2003. I am also the Program Coordinator for the Criminal Justice/Social Science program.
I have currently finished course work for certification as a Geriatric Care Manager from Misericordia University and beginning Fall, 2017 I will be facilitating a support group for caretakers of loved ones with Alzheimer’s.
I love golf and gardening and I live with my little dog Heath and four cats. I also enjoy watching and reading murder mysteries and I am a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
How I Teach
I am pretty animated and I don’t take myself seriously. I love to make jokes and feel that humor and real experiences are a good way to make students remember the material. I enjoy teaching and it’s difficult to fall asleep in my classes because you never know where I am because I tend to pace as I teach.
