A respected national publication has once again named Keystone College as one of the best schools in the nation for current or former members of the military.
For the seventh consecutive year, Military Advanced Education & Transition magazine has designated Keystone as one of the best schools in the nation for veterans or current military members to begin or continue their education. Keystone will be recognized for its achievement in the publication’s upcoming 2017 Guide to College and Universities.
“As Veterans Day 2016 approaches, Keystone College is once again honored to be recognized as one of the best schools in the nation for those who have served or are currently serving in the United Stated military,” said Keystone President David L. Coppola, Ph.D. “Keystone was founded in 1868 to educate soldiers returning home from the Civil War. Because of this tradition, our dedication to the men and women who serve our nation is deeply rooted within our history and is a proud part of our everyday culture and values.”
Military Advanced Education &Transition magazine is published specifically for service members seeking to take advantage of their military benefits to continue their education. The publication covers issues and trends in education as they relate to military life.
Keystone College has also been listed as one of the top schools for veterans and military service members by GI Jobs Magazine and U.S. News & World Report.
The Keystone community will host its annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, Nov. 11. Guests will celebrate the completion of grant-funded renovations to the Elmer Hawk ’48 Veterans Center in Alumni Hall with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. The 12th Annual Veterans Day Luncheon will follow at 11:45 a.m. in the Theatre in Brooks.
