Keystone College is celebrating Earth Week from April 19-22 with a variety of activities to help participants realize the importance of environmental sustainability and responsibility.

Events, organized by the Keystone Ecology Club, are:

Tuesday, April 19, 12:30-2 p.m. (weather permitting): Students will participate in a hiking trail cleanup on the Woodlands Campus. The group will meet at the College’s Suspension Bridge.

Wednesday, April 20, 12:30 -2 p.m. (weather permitting): Students will participate in a stream-clean-up of the South Branch of the Tunkhannock Creek. The group will meet at 12:30 p.m. at Capwell Hall.
Thursday, April 21, 12:30 – 3 p.m. (weather permitting): There will be activities, games and Earth Week attractions during the Eco Club Carnival in front of Capwell Science Hall. Students will have the opportunity to plant their own trees on campus.

Friday, April 22, 1 p.m.: Earth Week activities will conclude with the annual Campus Duck Derby on the South Branch of the Tunkhannock Creek. Students will meet at the Suspension Bridge.
