Keystone College’s online accounting program continues to receive national recognition.
The college’s online bachelor’s degree in accounting has been ranked 25th best in the nation by Accounting.Com, a website dedicated to accounting professionals, students, and job-seekers.
This is the third national recognition the program has received in the last year. The accounting website Online-Accounting-Degrees.Net recently listed the Keystone accounting program as the 28th best in the nation. In 2014, Affordable Colleges online, a website which provides information about online educational programs, ranked Keystone’s online accounting bachelor’s degree program 20th in the nation.
“Once again, we are honored to receive national recognition for our online accounting program. This means experts in the field realize that Keystone offers a program of the highest quality that will enable students to succeed professionally long after they graduate from college,” said Keystone Professor and Accounting Curriculum Coordinator Dr. Patricia Davis.
The Keystone College bachelor’s degree in accounting offers an 11:1 student/teacher ratio and 88 percent of students receive financial aid. The program is designed to develop professional, managerial, and technical excellence in accounting and related business fields. Through the completely online program, students learn to accumulate and summarize information, analyze and interpret results, and present information for business decision making. Keystone offers a rolling admission policy throughout the year so candidates are encouraged to apply anytime.
Keystone also offers a traditional “in-class” bachelor’s degree in accounting and in 2014 received permission from the United States Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Department of Education to offer a master’s degree in accounting, which is offered in an online format.
